2. you know when you think you're state is the best state of all (because Nebraska really is..) and then you move somewhere else and you slowly fall in love with it? well, that's happening. when we first moved here i thought 'what's the big deal? who even cares about boston?' i do. i care about boston and am falling in love, slowly but surely.
3. we went to an estate sale the other day. on chestnut hill to a mansion. it was beautiful. we drove around the neighboring houses for at least 30 minutes ohh and awwing at all the most beautiful houses i've ever seen. we found this awesome old wicker trunk (that we are now using to store blankets) for $10 and i got this wonderful new maxi skirt for $5--we love them both
5. rachael susan james mulder &her husband dan and cutest baby jude james are coming to visit us in may. i am BEYOND ecstatic. i seriously cannot WAIT!!! they're coming for one blissful week. i haven't seen them in real life for over a year and every time i think about it my heart almost stops from the excitement!
6. we went to houghton gardens today. just this little garden area with a murky stream and beautiful trees and ferns and flowers everywhere you look right near our apartment. it was a lovely chilly walk through the paths and over the bridges
7. we have some great friends. i'm so glad we've made such wonderful friends while being out here. having good people to talk to eat with and hangout with is really the best.

YOU BLOGGED! How did I just miss it? I am so happy. I have so many things to say. #1 I am SO HAPPY that you are falling in love with Boston. You seriously do live in one of the best cities in the enire land. Go girl. #2 Scott in his hat? It's funny to me. Because it's so adorable and not a baseball cap, kinda a trucker cap. But's it's a college thing... I don't know. It's just funny. #3 You are too lovely as always & I miss you and I am so sad that I will miss Rachy. Like really? I hope that we over lap at least one day & I can meet them and say hi and love on that cutie boy. My heart. #4 Love estate/tag sales. Go all summer. You will find the most wonderful things constantly.
#5 We're almost done with year 1!!!! I fly to UT/SF on May 10 & don't come back home until May 21. AFTER that, I need to see you. #6 The night of June2... Mckay's 30th. Keep it open.
