Mt. Auburn

Yesterday we went to Mt. Auburn Cemetery-the oldest cemetery in Cambridge. It's 173 acres!!! It was gorgeous and the most peaceful &perfect day. It was 75 degrees and breezy with blossoms everywhere and green springing up here &there.
the chapel when you first walk in. beautiful stained glass everywhere

nbd. just a sphinx 'headstone'

on top of the george washington monument. we could see the whole city, it was beautiful

We love Mt. Auburn! You almost forget you are in a cemetery and it just feels like a huge beautiful garden.
