marathon

monday was the boston marathon. it was awesome!! we walked up to BC and watched the runners. it was mile 21 and they were still BOOKIN!! it was CRAZY! seriously. when they ran by us, the men were at 1:45.. 21 miles in an hour and 45 minutes? craziness. the women were right behind them in the time at 2:05. it was so inspiring. it brought emotions to my heart that they were so devoted to something so great and obviously emotional for them as well. i loved it &honestly i almost shed a tear or two for these great runners. at one point a runner came clipping by and there was the most enthusiastic man cheering him on, almost running up next to him, yelling how much he loved him etc etc. it was his dad!! and the pride in his face was the most sweet &tender thing. it was so heart warming.

the handicapped runner cruising down the hill (the front biker) i was in awe of their strength
the lead women
truly inspiring. have a wonderful day!
love the keller fam

It is inspiring, but I could never do that, nor do I ever want to do that. Kent has always said you should only run if you are being chased by a bear. The older I get, the more I agree - and I have no intention of being anywhere near bears.

Haha! I feel like my momma writes the cutest/funniest comments! & my Dad!? Of course he thinks that.
Weren't to the NYC marathon to cheer on a friend, it's weird but you literally feel pride for the complete strangers that zoom (or crawl) by. Lots of fun.
I need to come see you guys this summer. & your new sofa!

I agree with Nicki. Her mom's comments are always the greatest. I'm so proud of you for going to the marathon. I want to run one lately. Nicki's desire to run one inspired me to run one. Maybe 1/4 marathon. Too bad they don't even have those. Should we go running together next MONTH WHEN WE'RE TOGETHER??! Maybe to the ice cream parlor. I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And when I first read this I almost cried too.
