remember when you were a kid and on may 1 you made plastic cups full of popcorn and candy and snuck over to your friends houses and so gently put the 'basket' of goodies on the doormat, rang the doorbell and ran like a madman to hide behind the nearest bush? i told scott this the other night and he said he'd never even HEARD of may day! have you guys? May Day! i did it every year growing up and it was the BEST!! maybe i'll start it here in boston...
remember when i never see scott anymore? i left at 8 this morning and he gets home at 1030 tonight. our schedules do NOT mesh well together.
remember when we planted a garden a while ago and they're growing like CRAZY?! these cucumbers, cantaloupe, zucchini, tomatoes and basil are KILLIN' IT!
remember when i never eat anymore? because i never have time to cook/grocery shop? hopefully it's a good weight loss plan for summer.
remember when i have 3 classes and 4 finals and then i'm officially done with my first year of dental hygiene school?! if you can't tell i am thoroughly impressed with myself/beyond elated.
remember when life is the BEST THING EVER?! i'm not sure if it's because the school year is winding down or because our plants are awesome and growing like weeds or because i have cool friends or because our apartment is the most perfectly perfect blue walls &white trim or because soon i'll be able to see scott whenever i want or because i just ate a sandwich of homemade wheat bread, bananas and peanut butter (elvis' favorite snack if you didn't know) or because i have the best family in the world (BOTH SIDES!! james' and kellers--how does this happen?! why are we so good?!) or because i have the cutest/sweetest 12-18 year old girls i get to hang out with 2x a week or because i have the best husband from all time.. like the best one ever-ever or because my hair's getting so long or because it's almost summer/swimsuit season and it's my favorite one but life REALLY is the BEST!!!! i tell you people.. it probably couldn't get any better!

Seriously, I bet you're the BEST YW leader! (Well, you learned from the best right?) ;) Someday when you're back I'll teach you our new Thriller line dance so you can rock it with the youth put there. Oh, and SO excited for you to be a 2nd year! Huge! Just remember how far you've come. Remember how hard flossing was? And learning which instrument was which? You're awesome!
I had never heard of May Day until we moved to Nebraska! So don't be too hard on Scott. :)
