dad's surprise

last weekend i flew to vegas. it was my nephew Ty's baptism and so my family decided to throw my dad a surprise party while we'd all be out there. he turned 60 on March 11th. it was SO MUCH FUN!!!! i really can't even explain to you how seriously awesome my family is. i feel so blessed to be part of such a talented, funny, sweet, loving family. really. the party was a luah theme and dad was TOTALLY surprised (see picture below--the BEST!!!)
my adorable nephews. could they be any cuter?!!
my brother's put together a song for my dad. they only practiced it a couple of times but it was really phenomenal. they had a little dance and joshua played the ukulele. it was so sweet.
then the real party started!! chelsea (my oldest sister) choreographed this whole 70's dance and us three sisters learned it. it turned out SOO cute. once i get the video, i'll post it. it was definitely a hit.
the night then, naturally, turned into strutting our stuff and dancing away. it was SO MUCH FUN!!!
dad, doing his signature move
mama--breaking it down
dancing with the girls
sweet ginger
the 70's dancers
the cutest parents ever
my wonderful siblings &parents
the girls
so much time and effort went into the party and it turned out beyond phenomenal. a night to put in the history books. thank-you chelsea &emily for planning such an unforgettable night. i'm truly blessed to be in such a stellar family. love you all!
