Crafty

While I was home, mom and I indeed got crafty. Here's some of the crafts we did:

This is a valentine's door hanger. It's adorable and took loads of time puffy painting the little hearts all over the tree. Sadly, it was to big to even fit into my suitcase so, my door is bare and mom has two.

My baby quilt!! I got the fabric for this quilt literally like 2 years ago and it's just been sitting around. I'd work on it here and there when I would have free time but, over this break I finally finished it!! I love it. It's so beautiful and cheery &wonderful!

I embroidered this pillow. I found the pattern online for free and it looked easy enough so I had a go at it. It was nice to have something to do while we watched cake shows at night and was simple enough to finish in a few days! It's a pillow, so I'll be stuffing it and sewing the seam up in the next few days. I love it and am so proud of it.

the back.
I'm now back at home with Scott. It's good to be back but, let's be honest, I miss the warm house, good food, shopping and attention but.. what can a girl do? School starts Wednesday so I better get my head in the game!!
We went shopping yesterday at a new supermarket a little farther away from our house but boy was it worth it!!! The prices were AWESOME! I was going CRAZY all over those deals and we now have cupboards full of cans (hello food storage!) and a fridge stocked with yummy food. I was really hating shopping here because the prices are so outrageous but, Market Basket is where it's AT and my love for grocery shopping has returned.
We went to the public library last night. Scott got Fodor's Travel Guide-Boston and New England. He's been making a list of things for us to do this summer and if any of it pans out, we're going to have an adventurous/wonderful/awesome summer!! I love living out here, there's so much to do and explore, it's the best!
Well, I must go. It's 1 pm and I still haven't eaten breakfast. Have a wonderful day!

I LLLOOOOVVVVEEEE and adore and am obsessed with the tree pillow. Like, it could be the best craft I've ever seen. And you love to act like it was nbd to make... Just did it with my eyes closed while cake shows were on (may as well have said that). It's too cute. Love you. I'm glad you're home, it makes me happy to have you closer. Xo

You should frame that little quilt. It's so hard core.
