Snowshoeing &a Birthday

Last weekend, per Scott's incessant requests, we adventured into the deep dark snowy forest and went snowshoeing with Hannah and Dave. It was actually really fun once we trekked up the mountain because then we got to come back down and I was just cruising! Here's some pictures from the trip:
cute scott (in moon boots... yes) when we first started.
 i know... to die for.
love the pouty lips over on the left.
 nature at it's finest
 sooooo cold and windy.
my five year old boy. i love him.
taking a break to sit on a log and drink some hot cocoa. yummy!

and here's a compilation of the videos we took:

Also on Sunday, it was Kathryn's birthday so we had her over for dinner/dessert. Pictures are as follows:
'Bow Before the BIRTHDAY GIRL'
our circus themed living room. it's still up. we love it.
so cute and excited about the YUMMY fajitas scott made. really. SOO delish.
 circus everywhere.
yummy chocolate bundt cake.
her chariot complete with streamers and all.

We still don't have a car. Thankfully Kathryn is so gracious and lets us take hers everyday! Insurance company's are the worst.. let's just throw that out there. Seriously. The WORST! Anyways, we had a great weekend. Hope you did too!

Kent and I went snowshoeing once, when Nicki was only a baby. We ended up accidentally dumping her in the snow head first. I've never been since. Too bad about your car. Hope you have wheels again soon. And, congrats on getting into school.

Me and Penny just watched the video and she loved watching you roll over and over down the hill. She says it looks fun and that she'd love to do it. But, there's no way she'd even try sledding, she's such a chicken. Like her mom.
