this last weekend, we went camping with my cousin hannah and her husband dave. they are the cutest! it was so much fun. we went to the same spot we've gone to the last two times we've camped (we're going to go somewhere different this next time we decided). the weather was cool and crisp-perfect. we made yummy tin foil dinners and s'mores. an owl swooped over us and sat on the top of the tree right next to us with its head cocked around staring at us [a little creepy honestly] and we just stayed up late chatting around the fire. it was perfect.

in the morning we went up to our tree ^ ^ and went fishing in the afternoon for a few hours. guess what... scott totally caught a big ole' trout!! there's a video but it's just a lot of me and hannah screaming with excitement. it was his second cast (i know, he's such a PRO!) and he hooked Fo (that's what we named her).
yes, those are the waders we bought at DI for $5 that have not even one hole! so perfect.
my cute man and fo. scott bashed her head on a rock and gutted her in the river (he's SO manly) and we cooked her up for dinner that night! she was actually quite delicious.
i did not catch anything but hannah did!! the fish she caught was small so we just threw it back but so proud that she actually caught something!
she was SO funny and had no idea what to do. the best.
our perfect rock we could fish off and sun bathe on.
after our fishing adventure we went up to mesa falls to finish the camping trip off. it was so beautiful with the changing of the trees and crisp air. i think i love fall most out of all four seasons.
well that was our weekend. hope yours was wonderful as well! oh yes and happy october!

Sounds like a great camping trip. I miss fall terribly! I love our weather here most of the year, except during the fall. We've been wanting to go somewhere so we can show the girls some colorful leaves.

This SO reminds me of when we did all our fun stuff with Em and Darik in Provo! How fun. These times are the best! Enjoy them, cutie!!!
