In November, we all went up to Washington for Scott's Grandfather's funeral. It was a really nice service and chance to meet all the Allsop's.
One weekend we decided it would be fun to drive up to Ashton Idaho and stay a night in a log cabin motel. Turns out the one we wanted to stay at was no longer in business so we settled for the next best thing. A crummy motel. We went to dinner at a diner down the road that had mediocre food and then realized we didn't want to stay the night in a weird room we didn't know who had slept in last. Good thing we hadn't paid yet so we just grabbed our stuff and jetted.
We went up into a forest of pine trees and cut down our first Charlie Brown Christmas tree. We decorated it with lights (Scott's forte), ornaments and a paper star for the top. We love it.

i'd SAY it's been a while! you forget. a little sad that the log cabin was closed. lame. but adventurous i tink! the tree is the best. the family picture is so cute too. i think you fight right in.

What a cute tree! It was so fun to have you guy's at Christmas. I loved getting to know my new sister in law better. You fit right in and its wonderful!!
