Visitors in Town

My old roommate/one of my best friends Nicki, her husband McKay (NiKay we like to call them) and sister Kenna came and visited us in Boston last weekend! It's always the BEST showing people around "our city" and gives us that little umph of Boston pride. The first morning they were here we went to Walden Pond. It's probably my favorite place we've swam here. It's seriously magical. It's surrounded by trees and the water is like bath water, but refreshing all at the same time. You can swim and swim and never get tired of it.

Later that day, we went downtown and they were having a festival/carnival. Mckay introduced us to deep fried oreos. Scott loved them (of course) and I liked them. We showed Kenna the big sites on the Freedom Trail and were starving by the end.

We ate at Pizza Regina. We've eaten here before and always LOVE it because it's cooked in an old brick oven and the most delicious thing that I can't get enough of.

Then, of course, we headed over to Mike's Pastry and all got canolli's &Mckay got a lobster tail (the biggest one ever) and we ate right next to Paul Revere.

Lastly, Sunday morning after church, we went to Bunker Hill and climbed to the top (side note, my calves did NOT thank me the next day for those 300 stairs). 

It was the best trip. Seriously, I can't tell you enough how much we LOVE having people visit. Come on you guys!! You won't regret it, I promise! Come visit us!!
