Pine

A couple weeks ago while at Target, we passed by the Christmas section. It was so magical I couldn't help but stop for a good 30 minutes to look at every ornament and tiny christmas tree on display. I convinced Scott we NEEDED a Christmas tree.. and so it was. We brought home a 6 ft. tree that was on sale (which made Scott feel better about buying it). Luckily, last year after Christmas we bought 6 boxes of colored lights on sale. I know, excessive but.. it's okay because we used 5 of those for our cute little tree.
Scott-in charge of putting the lights on because he's the best.
the finished product. i'm sooo in love with it.
Then last week, the Relief Society in my ward put on a wreath making activity. I guess it's been a tradition for 50 years or something here in New England and of course I HAD to join in when I heard what it was. They brought in huge bales of fresh pine (like... there was moss still growing on the branches fresh) that smelled like heaven on a branch and gave us all wire/metal wreath holder things that we attached the pine to. It was so splendid and Christmas-y and awesome. Here's the finished product:
It's on the inside of the apartment because.. I want to see it more than my neighbors do and plus it makes the house smell like the woods. Merry soon to be Christmas!
