I just had to write a quick post and tell you the things that have been happening lately. There'll be another one soon with more pictures, I'm just waiting to get said pictures from my cousin. You'll love them, I promise.
This last week we:
skyped with my parents. how cute are they? seriously.
had a "date night". we had originally planned on going to the cocoa bean &using our gift certificate to get hot cocoa and big cupcakes but it was packed (friday night buzz for the singles) and there were only a few cupcakes left so we opted out and headed to sammy's for a free concert. that too was a little more than we could handle with people coming up and just.. talking to me. did i used to do that? i think i must have but it seems so foreign now. so we opted out of that idea too and headed to broulim's our friendly local grocer and bought pop, chips &dip and enjoyed a night at home watching shows and munching on our goodies. perfect.
i got more and more birthday goodies in the mail! scott got me THE nicest tortilla maker EVER!! it's 10 inch shiny silver &beautiful! i'm so in love with it &him. we've had tortillas every night since we got it. it's soooo perfect!! i also got a little package in the mail from rachael. how sweet is she?!!! she made me this adorable little purple bag and a monthly planner (best) she even filled in all the dates of birthdays and anniversaries. she is the SWEETEST! birthday's are the best.
last but definitely not least, we celebrated scott's mom's birthday! she would have been 58 on Jan. 9 so we celebrated with chicken milano, a yummy bundt cake and of course snarf. it was wonderful. oh yes, we also played snarf via skype with juliann later that evening.. and she won. classic.

I was certain I'd already commented on this one... hummphhff. Your Mom and Dad are too cute. It's like you and Scott I think. Good chatting with you today (forevvv). I love that you celebrated Scott's Mother's bday, that is so sweet. I know you will always do that, and teach your children about her, and celebrate with them, I love that.
How am I so in tears at mom and dad right now!?! Hilarious! I am just laughing off my seat. Love you and thanks a million for that picture. I needed a good laugh today.
