Summer is on it's way

How is it seriously almost August?!!! I have no clue. The summer has flown by me and I feel like I haven't had the chance to completely enjoy it yet! No worries though, this is our last week of school (yes, I should be studying but... I know). We cannot WAIT for break!! We're so elated over the whole idea. We're staying here and going to soak up the sun everyday all day, amidst working at western wats of course (yuck). We have quite a few things on our list to do over the 7 week break, a few of them being:

-3 weddings; all three of them are my cousins, one in Twin Falls where we're going to hang out with my parents (I'm so excited!) in just a couple weeks, and the other two are in Utah, on the same day.
-Make freezer jam! We went to a preparedness fair a month or two ago and the lady made it sound SO easy to make and of course I got so excited at the idea so we'll be venturing off for jars and berries soon!
-Go to Rigby Lake. Even though it's $5 now (annoying!) we haven't gone all summer and I can't stand to go a summer without that funny/gross/wonderful little lake/pond.

Anyways, those are a few of the things we have planned that we're so excited about. We love that we get to stay in our cozy apartment, just us, and hang out with each other all day :)

In other news, last week there was a fire somewhere close to here (I have no idea where..) and made the sky CRAZY!! We almost thought it was the second coming or something.
SO CUTE!!

I was in show choir this semester, as some might know and we had the final performance last weekend. It was so fun to have a creative outlet I loved and to make friends who like the same things too. I may have been reliving high school but, I didn't care, I soaked it all in. This is at an end of the semester party and the manager's house. This is only like half the group.

We went to Porter Park this weekend and soaked up the sun. We brought our water gun that we took from the Epic Water Fight a month ago to cool us down when we got too warm so we wouldn't have to run to the splash park for cooling off needs. That night, we rode our bikes around the  neighborhood, the weather has been SO beautiful (finally). We love it!

the pretty flower scott picked me :)

the funniest husband I have

This is Jared (my cousin) and his fiance Christina, they're getting married this August, she stayed with us this last weekend and they so graciously made us a delicious lunch before church. Aren't they so cute?!

Lastly this is Nicki Tyler Craven (soon to be Dunn) who just got engaged last week and I had to give her a shout-out and say that I am beyond excited for the wedding/her/mckay!! She'll be such the most beautiful bride (of course)! YAY and CONGRATS!

Well that's all. I know, I've been so good about blogging lately huh! 3 times this month? That has to be a record for me.  Anyways, have a good rest of the week!
