Lately:

Hi! I know, it's been a long time since we've blogged but.. there hasn't been much to blog about but here it goes anyways:

-Mid-February we took the train to Nebraska to see my parents. The ride is 24 hours but was actually really fun. We mostly sat in the observatory cart playing card games and Scott looking out the windows with his little boy charm I love. While in Nebraska we mostly just hung out with my parents every moment of every day. I learned to make a rug from my mom which, I'll post pictures later when it's done, it's still a work in progress. We saw Avatar which my mom loved the most. We went out to eat a lot. Basically my parents just treated us like royalty. It was SO much fun! And well, the main reason we went in the first place was to see doctors and first, I'm CANCER FREE! which.. I was expecting but.. yay! And second, I got the tubes out of my eyes but my left tear duct is still shut and still won't drain (ugh.) so the doctor put me on antibiotics and drops etc but they haven't really worked so.. we'll see what happens with that later in life.

-We refinished our table! It had this horrible sticky film/layer on it and so we finally sanded it all (by hand and mostly scott) and stained it! It looks so good, we love it.

-We went to the Sweetheart Ball on campus with Hannah and Dave Knecht for Valentine's Day, which turned out to be so funny and fun! We got our (really cheesy) pictures taken and danced the night away. People at BYUI are such a riot to watch dance.

-We got a Bosch and a Wheat Grinder! (BIG shout out to Mama and Papa James!) We love them!! I haven't used the grinder yet because well.. we don't have any wheat yet but the bosch works wonders. I'm in heaven when I cook/bake with that thang!

-We both are working now, at Western Wats. It's a call center here in Rexburg if you don't know and let's face it, it's not the most g-l-a-m-o-r-o-u-s job in the world but.. we don't really mind it. We get to sit by each other and chit chat between calls/take breaks together at least.

-We went to the duck pond a few days ago and threw rocks into the iced over ponds. We did it last winter when we were dating and it never fails to entertain. I love that we can act like 5 year-olds together. Scott is the best (seriously).
-It was the first of April yesterday and it snowed here, the BEST April fool's joke Rexburg could play on us. Scott got up before me so he could "scheme against me". So, I turned on the faucet to make oatmeal yesterday morning and the spraying head sprayed me a little (his plan didn't work out as planned) and all I could come up with was putting toothpaste and water on his toothbrush and sticking it in the freezer for 6 hours till he brushed his teeth. Not to the most successful April fool's day in the world.

Well, that's about all that is new with us. Have a wonderful day :) Love you all!

Looks like you have kept busy! I love the pic. It totally brings back the days at Ricks College. Scott looked pretty strong throwing your rock into the ice pond too. Save those and bring them to my house, I need some for my yard! Love you!
